MANALAPAN, NJ – Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon has announced that the New Jersey RockNRoll Chorus will have a special performance at this year’s 22nd Annual Archives and History Day on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 11 a.m. at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters in Manalapan.

The New Jersey RockNRoll Chorus is a privately-operated project and consists of singers from many high schools, mostly throughout New Jersey. They will perform one number to kick off the plenary session.

“I am pleased to announce this live performance, which will be a great addition to this year’s Archives and History Day,” said Clerk Hanlon. “I encourage all to join us for what will be a historic performance by these talented students.”

This year’s Archives and History Day focuses on innovators and inventors from Monmouth County and will feature a History Forum on the theme of invention with a panel of historians. The event will also include a history game with prizes and more than 60 exhibitors from across New Jersey showcasing and promoting their roles in preserving and promoting history.

“This year’s events promise to have something for everyone to enjoy. So, bring the family, enjoy the exhibits and learn something new about New Jersey’s history,” said Hanlon.

The County Clerk’s 22nd Annual Archives and History Day will take place on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters located at 125 Symmes Drive in Manalapan Township.
