COUNTY CLERK PROVIDES GENERAL ELECTION BALLOT COUNT UPDATE FROM THE COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS

The Board of Elections, a separate and independent office, counts the ballots

FREEHOLD, NJ – Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon is advising residents that the General Election results remain unofficial as the County Board of Elections continues to count ballots. The County Clerk’s Office has been informed by the Board of Elections that there will be no further updates regarding ballot counts until this Friday, Nov. 12, when the Board of Elections plans to begin count of the provisional ballots.

The Board of Elections, a separate and independent office from the County Clerk’s Office, counts the Vote by Mail ballots and provisional ballots. For further information about these counts, the Board of Elections can be reached at 732-431-7802.

When the County Clerk’s Office receives the ballot counts from the Board of Elections, the results will be uploaded to our courtesy results page on MonmouthCountyVotes.com and our Monmouth County Votes Mobile App.
