FREEHOLD, NJ – Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon is reminding Monmouth County voters that sample ballots for the upcoming Nov. 7 General Election are now available for viewing online.

The sample ballots for all 53 Monmouth County municipalities can be accessed by visiting the Monmouth County Clerk’s Elections Website at or by downloading the free Monmouth County Votes mobile app.

“The sample ballots are posted online in advance of the traditional mailing of the ballots,” said Hanlon. “The sample ballots are designed to help voters familiarize themselves with their local candidates in all municipalities before going to the polls on General Election Day.”

From the Monmouth County Votes website, scroll over the word “Elections” on the top menu bar and then click on “Sample Ballots” from the drop down menu. From the Monmouth County Votes mobile app, view the main menu and click on the “Sample Ballots” icon. When the new webpage appears, click on the name of the town in which you are seeking the sample ballot.

The Monmouth County Votes mobile app is available for free download on the Apple App and Google Play Stores. The app can be downloaded by searching “Monmouth County Votes” in these respective stores.

Along with being available online, sample ballots will continue to be mailed out to voters, starting on Wednesday, Nov. 1.
