Veterans’ ID Cards, Gold Star Parent Cards, and “Honoring our Heroes” Program

Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon, Esq. issues Veterans’ Cards as a way to honor and identify those Monmouth County residents who served our country in active military duty.

County Clerk Hanlon also issues Gold Star Parent Cards to honor the service members who made the ultimate sacrifice and to remind their parents and guardians that the legacies of their sons and daughters will always be remembered.

Benefits

These cards give Monmouth County veterans and Gold Star Parents the ability to receive valuable discounts from the local retailers listed in the Veterans’ and Gold Star Parent Discount Spreadsheet, which you can access by clicking here. Many establishments offer 10% or more in discounts to veterans and Gold Star Parents who show our cards during a transaction.

Note: These cards are not valid to conduct official business or to secure veterans and Gold Star Parent benefits. Instead, they provide identification and eliminate the need to carry valuable documentation when receiving a discount at a local establishment.
