The County Clerk’s Office issues a County Identification Card for persons who are U.S. Citizens and residents of Monmouth County. The County Identification Card includes your photo, name, address, date of birth, height, weight, hair/eye color, and signature.
The County Clerk’s Office issues Veterans’ Cards as a way to honor and identify those Monmouth County residents who served our country in active military duty. These Veterans’ ID Cards give Monmouth County veterans the ability to receive valuable discounts from the local retailers.

All Notaries Public are sworn into office by the Clerk of the county in which the candidate resides. The County Clerk also provides notary services.
One of the most traditional and enjoyable duties of the Monmouth County Clerk is the performance of marriage ceremonies. The County Clerk performs marriage ceremonies in the Ceremony Room of the County Clerk’s Office in Freehold.
