ABSTRACT
The collection consists of eight folders containing Fatality Reports that cover sixteen years of data.
HISTORY
The Traffic Safety Division is a part of the Division of Engineering, which, itself, is under the Department of Public Works & Engineering. This division is responsible for the planning, analysis, design, construction and maintenance of Monmouth County’s extensive transportation network and public building inventory. These include bridges, roads, traffic signals, some public Buildings, and the Bayshore Ferry Terminal.
SCOPE AND CONTENT
The collection consists of Fatality Report, 1976-1992.   Charts display numbers per state, county, and town; time of year; seat belt usage; types of people and vehicles involved in fatal accidents; and other data.
